Not...Kate, I'm going to disagree with you on No. 3. Not sure if it's a personal thing or not, but I always feel like dialogue speeds up the story, not slows it down. In fact when I'm into a story and want to hurry up and get to the good stuff, I often skip the entire description sections and just read dialogue. I could honestly live without all the rest of the stuff as a reader.<BR/><BR/>But I love all your points. Merely just to make sure dialogue has to be there, because if you are just throwing it in to throw it in, you are correct, it doesn't need to be there.
