It's really valuable for mysteries of getting an idea of about how far into the book you need to add a twist. I wish there would be easy access to detailed 3-act and 4-act structures for any genre. If you know of such a place, let me know.Emily Marshallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07073350248209507278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3318840210070768346.post-31285327420781642082012-07-18T14:01:30.811-07:002012-07-18T14:01:30.811-07:00Hmm, I looked up apotheosis and Webster's says...Hmm, I looked up apotheosis and Webster's says it means "The glorification of a person or thing." So this must be a different context because my main characters definitely won't be glorified, and especially not at the end of the second act, when everything should be going to hell for them. If anyone has a different definition, please share. I was trying to avoid jargon in my post since it took me so long to understand how to apply this concept flexibly.Kate Fallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12856887940900664692noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3318840210070768346.post-9549187301572933292012-07-18T04:07:30.631-07:002012-07-18T04:07:30.631-07:00The third act is basically past the apotheosis.
